Definition

The Urban Property is a real estate developer specializing in the boutique market, meaning real estate with distinctive architectural design as a defining trait. The company started in Pattaya and expanded into Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Pathum Thani, covering condominiums, low-rise real estate, and joint ventures in hotel projects. SUFFIX redesigned the UX and information architecture to support the expansion from condos to low-rise and hotels.

Objective

Design and improve the user experience and structure of the website to support business expansion.

Outcome

SUFFIX redesigned the user experience and information architecture for The Urban Property's website to support the changing business. The new information architecture lets users see the full picture of the business, with a design that handles many projects of distinct identities and personalities under one consistent website structure.

Design and improve the user experience and structure of the website to support business expansion.

Process

How did SUFFIX redesign the website for The Urban Property?

The Urban Property started by developing condominiums in Pattaya, then expanded into Bangkok, Samut Prakan, and Pathum Thani, adding new project types from condos to low-rise real estate and joint ventures in hotels. The previous website no longer reflected this changing business. SUFFIX stepped in to redesign both the user experience and the information architecture, so visitors see the full scope of The Urban Property right away, including current projects, new business areas in expansion, and the locations where projects sit in each region. The website becomes a complete information hub for both customers and business partners.

Information architecture redesigned for business expansion

When the business expanded from condominiums alone into low-rise real estate and hotels, the website's data structure had to be rebuilt. SUFFIX designed an information architecture that supports a wider range of property project types. Visitors can reach each type of project clearly, whether condominiums in Pattaya, homes and townhomes in Bangkok, or joint-venture hotel projects. The new structure was also designed to support future projects, so The Urban Property can add new projects without rebuilding the entire website structure.

Designed so distinct boutique projects sit under one brand

The specific challenge with The Urban Property is that each project carries its own design identity, with different color tones, atmosphere, and personality. That distinctiveness is the strength of being a boutique real estate developer. SUFFIX designed the website so the tone and atmosphere of each project can stand out on its own terms, while still sitting under one shared structure and design system. Visitors feel the variety across projects but still understand that every one of them is developed under The Urban Property brand.
