Definition

Major Development is a real estate developer and the first brand to focus on building pet-friendly projects, both in design detail and material selection. SUFFIX redesigned and developed the new website built to support business growth from real estate into future industries, covering sales projects, brand, and investor relations.

Objective

Enhance and evolve the website's design and programming framework to strategically align with Major Development's business expansion objectives.

Outcome

SUFFIX redesigned and developed the new website for Major Development across both UX/UI design and engineering, working with three main teams (brand, marketing, and IT). The delivered site covers three main sections, sales projects for the property listings, brand for company storytelling, and investor relations for key materials including financial documents, shareholder meetings, and business direction.

Enhance and evolve the website's design and programming framework to strategically align with Major Development's business expansion objectives.

Process

How did SUFFIX develop the website for Major Development?

Major Development needed more than a new website. It needed a structure that can support business expansion from real estate into other industries in the future.

SUFFIX worked with three teams at Major Development, the brand team that owns the story and identity of the company, the marketing team that needs sales-support tools, and the IT team responsible for structure and information architecture. Working with all three from the start meant the website served every group at once.

A site structure built for business expansion

The Major Development website is split into three main sections that serve different audiences. The projects section is for sales, presenting condominium information and pet-friendly developments. The brand section communicates the story and vision of the company. The investor relations section covers financial documents, shareholder meeting reports, and the company’s business direction. The structure was designed to flex, allowing new sections to be added when the business expands into other industries, without rebuilding the existing architecture.

Working with three teams, brand, marketing, and IT

Developing a large corporate website calls for coordination across several teams with different goals. The brand team wants the site to carry the company identity and the pet-friendly position. The marketing team wants tools that help sell projects. The IT team wants information architecture that can be maintained over the long term.

SUFFIX brought the needs of all three teams together through information architecture that serves every group, then built a website that carries the brand, supports sales, and provides investor information all on one platform.
