Digital Execution

Definition

This project covers UI/UX design and front-end development for a government e-Learning platform. That means designing the structure, user experience, and visual design of the interface so a wide audience (students, university learners, working adults) can reach 11 Soft Power skill categories without learning the system itself.

Objective

Design and development an online learning platform

Outcome

SUFFIX designed both the UI and UX to support users across 11 categories and multiple skill levels, from basic to advanced. The visual design communicates the distinct character of each category, paired with a navigation system that lets learners reach the course they want immediately, without going through several steps. The work was a partnership with DGA (Digital Government Development Agency) and THACCA.

Design and development an online learning platform

Process

What did SUFFIX deliver on the OFOS project?

SUFFIX owned two main areas of the platform (UI/UX design and front-end development), working in partnership with DGA (Digital Government Development Agency) and THACCA. On the UX side, the work covered platform structure, navigation across 11 skill categories, and the user flow from category selection through to starting a course. On the UI side, the visual design covered the color system, typography, graphic elements, and the interface of each page, all built to communicate with several different user groups.

The challenge of designing a learning platform for every age group

OFOS users range from school students to university learners and working adults looking to build new skills. The UX side had to make every group feel comfortable, whether choosing a category, starting a course, or tracking progress. On the UI side, each of the 11 categories has its own character, so SUFFIX designed a visual language that lets users tell categories apart at a glance from the interface, while keeping the platform feeling like one system. The brief was to make the interface do the work, not force users to learn the interface.

The 11 Soft Power skill categories OFOS covers

Content on OFOS is organized across 11 categories. The list runs through books, festivals, food, travel, music, games, sports, arts, design, film/drama/series, and fashion. Each category includes courses from basic to advanced level, so learners can choose a development path that matches their starting point.
