Thinking about work from the questions "Why do it?" and "Why can't it be done?"

<p>Thinking about work from the questions "Why do it?" and "Why can't it be done?"</p>

SUFFIX team often uses two key questions to think and find approaches for working, whether for planning or designing tasks, to achieve different results.

Why?

Thinking begins with the question: Why are we doing this project? This leads to rational work processes and clear objectives.

The result of this thinking style:

Advantages: The work is focused, easy to explain, and standardized.

Disadvantages: The outcome may not differ much from competitors in the same industry.

Why not?

This involves exploring possibilities that have not yet been pursued in the industry or possibilities from other industries that could be adapted to meet the project's goals.

The result of this thinking style:

Advantages: The work is distinctive.

Disadvantages: There may be a higher risk, and the outcomes could be harder to measure.

Thinking from these two perspectives leads to clearly different directions and outcomes: standardized work and work that explores new possibilities.

Throughout SUFFIX's history, we have had clients who chose the approach of standardized work, and those who sought new possibilities in everything from marketing plans to digital media design.

In 2020, following the onset of COVID-19, we clearly observed that businesses began to seek more for 'possibilities' in their marketing strategies and digital products.
